Veteran Legionary

2015/2025

I dug up an old Roman legionary character from my Gnomon days. The armor model was pretty good but he desperately needed a new face. I decided to make him into a grizzled old veteran. Here is a man who has marched many miles, survived several long campaigns, and is overdue for retirement.

I sculpted the face in zbrush and put the old helmet geometry on him. I'm hoping to continue this project and revitalize the whole character.
